Albrightsville Quick Response Service(AQRS) is part of the Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company who, working hand in hand with the Lake Harmony Rescue Squad Ambulance(LHRS), is specifically dedicated to providing First Responder/Emergency Medical Services to primarily the residents of Albrightsville, along with a response area to all of Kidder Township when LHRS is committed on other calls, and is also requested by neighboring EMS services in the time of need to provide quick medical aid in an emergency. Both of the below units are equipped with most of the same lifesaving equipment as on an ambulance, along with staffed Pennsylvania Department of Health certified Emergency Medical Technicians and First Responders, only without the ability to transport patients to hospitals. We are dispatched by the Carbon County 911 Center with Lake Harmony Ambulance and other services when requested by the public for Medical Emergencies. We can provide a fast link in the emergency chain prior to the ambulances arrival, stabilizing and treating patients, saving time and lives.
