Fire chiefs, medical personnel, police and volunteer first responders knew full well that they had an ally in Harry when it came to providing life-saving services to Monroe County. And they all knew he had their best interests and safety at heart ….

In his private life he was a first responder as a member of the Tunkhannock Volunteer Fire Company. He knew what equipment was needed and he knew what training was needed and he worked hard to secure both for the county’s volunteers as well as its paid professionals, including the police agencies that are in this jurisdiction.
